Detroit River International Powerboat Championship CANCELLED:
The 2016 Detroit River International Powerboat Championships in Detroit, Michigan has been CANCELLED. The reason is supposedly not having enough sponsorship funds to cover the race. Unfortunately, this was the reason it was cancelled for the 2015 OPA Racing season. The only Detroit River International Powerboat Championship race that has been ran so far was the first showing of this race back in 2014. Lets hope they can get this straightened out for next season.
